Child Care (6 months to 6 year olds)
$446 for a 5 day programme
THREDBO has its own child care centre suitable for children aged 6 months to 6 years. The Centre is staffed by qualified and friendly carers and offers a safe and friendly environment for your children. The centre is located within the Thredbo Leisure Centre.
Lunch and morning/afternoon tea included for full days. Morning or afternoon teas are provided for half-day programs. Bookings are essential -
What to bring - copy of child's vaccination certificate, change of indoor clothes, all clothes clearly labelled, nappies, formula & any other special requirements
THREDBOLAND / FREERIDERS $542 for a 5 day programme
All THREDBOLAND programmes are the same price. Just broken into different programmes.
The THREDBOLAND program is a learn-to-ski program for children aged 3-6 years. It is not a child minding facility. THREDBOLAND is located on Friday Flat - the beginners area in THREDBO. The program includes adult supervision, appropriate lift pass, specialist tuition, play centre, lunch, morning and afternoon teas, child friendly rest areas and toilets.
Programs start at 9.00am and finish at 4.00pm. Typically, children ski in the morning, come in for morning tea, ski again, come in for lunch & then repeat the process in the afternoon. There is also a half-day program available, 12.00pm. - 4.00pm. No prior skill is required.

All THREDBOLAND programs are for consecutive days.
What to bring
Thredboland packages do not include ski clothing, gloves, ski boots, and skis. Ski poles are not required. We recommend helmets and goggles for extra safety. All equipment can be hired at Friday Flat.
THREDBOLAND - Freeriders (7-14 year olds)
The Thredboland Freeriders programme is for children 7 to 14 years - 9.00am to 4pm daily. Meet at the bottom of Gunbarrel chairlift at 9.00am. Learn to ski and learn about the environment at the same time. Includes all mountain lifts, refreshments and lunch. Also includes an adventure map and skill improvement diary, Milo mini World Cup race with race photo and presentation.
