Matterhorn Ski Lodge
Located in the heart of Perisher Valley, the Matterhorn is a charming comfortable lodge in an excellent location only minutes from the Quad Express and new 8-seater chairlift. Matterhorn offers great views over Perisher Blue Ski resort and village and features a guest lounge with open log fires, drying room with ski storage, games room, public telephone and bar with pool tables.

Experience the crisp mountain mornings, clear blue skies and panoramic views over the snowfields. This popular lodge combines the best of both worlds. Located just metres from the bustling Perisher Centre, the Matterhorn still maintains an aura of peace and tranquillity.

From the front door, you can ski straight down to Perisher Blue Front Valley where all the action is - ski lifts, restaurants, shops, bars, entertainment. There need never be a dull moment for the dedicated fun lover staying in the Matterhorn.

Behind the lodge lies the magical beauty of this unique alpine region. Twisted snowgums with their cream, pink and olive trunks - ice crystals sparkling on every tree in the crisp, morning light and in the snow, footprints of the small nocturnal residents of Kosciosko National Park.

Inside Matterhorn, the atmosphere is warm and friendly. Happy Hour every night in the bar provides you with the opportunity to relax after a great day skiing, catch up with old friends and make new ones.

Dinner at the Matterhorn's own fully licenced restaurant is the prelude to an evening of fun around the cosy log fire, enjoying the in-house entertainment.

Or, if you prefer, retreat to the sanctuary of your own room with its private facilities and central heating. From there you can look out over the lights of Perisher Valley, rivalling the stars as they sparkle in the snow, before you retire for the night to dream of yet another fantastic day awaiting you on slopes tomorrow. 

Directions
Once you have arrived in Perisher Valley, The Matterhorn is 300 metres from the Skitube terminal and 250 metres of the Express Quad Chair.  

Arrivals / Oversnow Transport
Courtesy oversnow transfers are available on Friday and Sunday ONLY between 3:00pm – 5:00pm. Please to ring the Matterhorn Lodge from the courtesy telephone located at the Perisher Skitube terminal. 

Departures
Courtesy oversnow transfers are available on Friday and Sunday ONLY at 9:30am & 2.30 pm ONLY for both Matterhorn Lodge. Please note check out time is strictly by 9:30am.
Bags may be stored at the lodge for the day - Please contact reception.

Only applicable for 2 night weekend bookings (Fri – Sun) and 5 night and 7 night Midweek bookings (Sun – Fri or Fri – Fri or Sun – Sun). Outside of these specified times, guests will need to make their own arrangements to and from the lodges. Hans Oversnow operates regularly from the Skitube terminal at guests own expense. 

Parking
No overnight car parking is permitted in Perisher Valley. Courtesy oversnow transfers are available on standard arrival days. Outside of these specified times, guests will need to make their own arrangements to and from the lodge.

THE FAMILY PAC KIDS STAY FREE

• All 3 night (value season only), 5 night midweek or 7 night weekly DBB bookings - Kids Stay Free
  - Children pay for compulsory meals $108 - 3 nights, $180 - 5 nights, $252 - 7 nights
  - Must be sharing with minimum 2 adults at 2 share adult rates
  - Maximum of 2 children (5-14 yrs) at The Family Pac rate - per room
